Email Marketing II

Email marketing is still considered a way of content distribution even though people have a misunderstanding on it. I had came across a lot of people they claimed themselves as Internet Marketing Professional saying that Email marketing has a very bad reputation and suggesting people not to include it in their internet marketing campaign. I can tell you they have never been even just a second into Email Marketing industry. This is definately a rumor that they just heard from someone in any other forum without digging a bit in this industry.
There are several types of email delivery includes Direct Mailing, Opt-In based (retention based), Permission based. Opt-In based and Permission based has high rates of reading and responding while some of the direct mailing based has a very low rate under 5% of responses. So, why people would think of Email Marketing is not a good tool to market their products because there are big bunch of bad marketers around the world sending unsolicited direct mailing to people each day. Actually, it is just a problem of how people use it instead of the tool itself. They can also do the same thing to search engine optimization area to spam the SERP each day until we need to have certain level of filtering to get the results that we want.
