Why Joomla 1.0.x sucks in SEO

I have been testing a few sites using Joomla! 1.0.11 and Drupal 4.7.4 as their CMSes, trying to check out their SEO performance with their corresponding components and modules. Drupal had done a great job with its superior internal link flowing structure. It has been working with Google, Yahoo and MSN with great fun while its counterpart still striving for getting indexed!

Joomla! didn’t offer a good default setting for search engine optimization. We needed to do a few tweaks in system settings together with a few additional component installations on various free and no-free external SEO components. Finally I had drawn the following conclusion from the tests.
